Describe the bug
OrbStack unexpectedly stopped on September 11, 2026. The GUI log records a VM manager exit at 15:20:08 +08:00 (07:20:08 UTC) with reason unknown crash. A diagnostic report was generated immediately afterward at 07:20:21 UTC and is linked below.

To Reproduce
No deterministic reproduction is available yet. OrbStack was running and subsequently reported the unexpected VM exit described above. The exact workload/action at the time of the crash has not been isolated.
Expected behavior
OrbStack should remain running. If a runtime or storage error requires stopping the VM, it should report an actionable reason rather than an unknown crash.
