Universitas Georgetown adalah sebuah universitas riset swasta di wilayah Georgetown, Washington, D.C., ibu kota Amerika Serikat. Didirikan pada 1789 sebagai Georgetown College, universitas tersebut sejak itu bertumbuh menjadi terdiri dari sembilan jurusan kelulusan dan undergraduate, beberapa diantaranya adalah School of Foreign Service, School of Business, Medical Center, dan Law School. Kampus utama Georgetown terletak di sebuah bukit di atas Sungai Potomac. Georgetown menawarkan program-program gelar dalam empat puluh delapan mata pelajaran, yang dihadiri oleh sekitar 7,500 murid undergraduate dan 10,000 murid post-graduate dari lebih dari 130 negara.^[9] Kampusnya diidentifikasikan oleh Healy Hall khasnya, yang menjadi National Historic Landmark.
