An Online Textual Commentary
on the Greek Gospels

Fifth edition

last update: 17.04.2008

In Memoriam
Bruce M. Metzger died on Feb. 13 2007.
Bruce M. Metzger
I dedicate this edition to him. He was a master!

This commentary discusses the 1000 most important textual variants of the Gospels, plus about 500 minor ones, on about 2400 pages. The commentary is not in HTML, because the Greek fonts and all the formatting with tabs etc. are too difficult to implement. Therefore everything is in PDF. To view these files you need Adobe Acrobat reader (it's free). So far I was able to update this commentary once a year.
