Plastic Waste
A ton of people I have talked to have their own 3D printer, and every convention or pop-up shop I go to has at least one seller with 3D printed slop.
I think the main issue with 3D printing becoming more popular is that people are just creating more and more "things". Almost every 3D printed item I have ever seen or owned gets thrown into the trash eventually. People get so excited about being able to create whatever they want that they do just that: create and create and create.
I think 3D printing is a very fun and dopamine-inducing way for people to create more waste.
I'm tired of plastic waste being disguised as fun hobbies.
