No incivility

Please be excellent towards each other. No ad hom, no pejoratives, no harassment, no calls to violence. The mods reserve the right to permanently ban users engaging in such behaviour without warning or recourse.

Flair all posts and provide a submission statement

When posting, please select the most relevant flair and provide a submission statement. A submission statement is a reply to the AutoMod comment requesting the statement that explains why the post is relevant to this community. Posts without a statement will be removed at the mod's discretion. OPs not meeting this standard repeatedly will be banned.

No political partisanship

The mods reserve the right to remove or lock any posts or comments which overtly relate to US or UK politics. The mods reserve final discretion in determining what constitutes political partisanship and what does not. Repeat offenders will be banned.

No low-effort posts

All posts must be appropriately titled

Posts editorializing or sensationalizing the title of an article or blog will be removed.

Posts claiming to display a document from an Epstein files release must have a HOUSE_OVERSIGHT or EFTA number in the title and a link to the source document. Similarly for all posts claiming to display a document from the Distributed Denial of Secrets Ehud Barak files or an Epstein or Maxwell-related legal filing. Posts not meeting these standards will be removed at the mod's discretion, end of.

No victim blaming, victim shaming, or doxxing of victims

Critical discussion of the credibility of witness statements is permitted. The mods have a zero tolerance policy toward victim blaming, shaming, or doxxing, and reserve the right to permanently ban users expressing such views without warning or recourse.

No bigotry (in particular mysogyny or antisemitism)

The mods will remove any content that conveys bigotry. The mods have a zero tolerance policy toward misogyny and antisemitism in particular, and reserve the right to permanently ban users expressing such views without warning or recourse.

There is room in the sub to discuss the role of the Israeli state in this scandal. If you use language and tone that does not generalize or blame Jewish people or Jewishness, there will be no grounds to enforce this rule.

Sources

Unless flared as a discussion or question, posts will be removed if they are not credibly sourced to a news article, blog, podcast, etc., with a history of accuracy. The mods have final say in what constitutes "credibly sourced", end of.

No self promotion or materials making money from the Epstein files

No self promotional material unless it is expressly approved by the moderation team. All requests must be sent in modmail to the mods before posting or the post will be removed at moderator discretion. No material with the express interest in making money from the files as its main goal.

Duplicate posts

Posts with the same media, URL or topic within the same 3 week period may be removed.

No Pizzagate, QAnon, or other conspiracy content

Critical discussion about Pizzagate, QAnon, other conspiracies or unverified claims is permitted, but the mods reserve the right to remove or lock any posts or comments relating to these topics. The mods have full discretion in what does or does not constitute a conspiracy theory. Repeat offenders will be banned.

Instead, we suggest you post to subs such as r/conspiracy.

No picture or video showing potential victims even if they are censored

Posts showing pictures and/or videos of kids or any other potential victims will be deleted even if they are censored and part of the released files. Only exception would be cases like victim giving an interview

Do not message the mods directly about moderation decisions

If you disagree with a decision made by a moderator, the appropriate recourse is to use modmail where all the mods can read it. If you message a mod individually you may be banned.
