IONOS CLOUD Database as a Service (DBaaS) consists of fully managed databases, with high availability, performance, and reliability hosted in IONOS CLOUD and integrated with other IONOS CLOUD services.

Database Engines

We offer the following database engines:

In-Memory DB

IONOS CLOUD DBaaS gives you access to the capabilities of In-Memory DB instances. You can manage In-Memory DB instances, scale the database, patch your database, create backups, and provide security.

MariaDB

With the help of IONOS CLOUD DBaaS, you can use the functionalities of the MariaDB database engine to scale database resources in the cloud flexibly, improve security, patch the database, and provide redundancy and backups.

MongoDB

IONOS CLOUD DBaaS lets you quickly set up and manage MongoDB database clusters. You can manage MongoDB clusters, with scaling, security and creating snapshots for backups. The feature offers the following editions of MongoDB to meet your enterprise-level deployments: Playground, Business, and Enterprise. For more information, see Overview.

PostgreSQL

IONOS CLOUD DBaaS gives you access to the capabilities of the PostgreSQL database engine. You can manage PostgreSQL cluster operations, database scaling, patch your database, create backups, and security.
