Afghanistan in the map

[edit]

The map looks old. Because Afghanistan reintroduced conscription after Taliban took over the country 3 years ago. Aminabzz (talk) 13:03, 24 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Crimea is also shown as Russian, against international law and Wikipedia policy ~2026-10382-79 (talk) 15:06, 16 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
What is the Wikipedia policy? Commons is a separate project. Mellk (talk) 17:38, 13 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Guatemala doesn´t have conscription , Put the No in the map

[edit]

In 1995, by order of President Ramiro de Leon Carpio, it was established by decree that military service is entirely voluntary https://bice.org/app/uploads/2014/06/04-guatemala-conflits-arms-initial-17-07-20061.pdf? ~2026-18474-48 (talk) 17:49, 25 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Belgium

[edit]

The "(2019)" in the sentence, "To this day (2019), a small minority of the Belgian citizens supports the idea of reintroducing military conscription, for both men and women." should obviously be deleted. Tbh, the whole sentence should probably be deleted (seems irrevelant to me), or at the very least a citation provided. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-24543-23 (talk) 20:57, 21 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Good catch, I’ve removed it. Lazarokardenjas (talk) 22:58, 21 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Map Needs a Consistency Update

[edit]

Map shows Crimea as Russian territory for some odd reason. The map is clearly not a depiction of de facto territory control however, given the fact that the Donbass region is shown under Ukrainian control, and the entire Western Sahara region is separate from Morocco. Only making an exception for Crimea makes this map appear to be pretty biased and unprofessional. ~2026-47551-40 (talk) 21:51, 1 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
