I started playing again a month ago in the same situation. What I've been doing is focusing only on Archon quests, and after that I do all the story quests for the characters so I can get an idea of who everyone is. I'm at Natlan now and hope to be caught up by the time next patch is up so I can experience the new region firsthand. It is overwhelming at first but you eventually get familiar with things again, I already feel like I've got the hang of mechanics and stuff again, and feel like I know who most of the characters are. Good luck, take it easy, and most importantly, enjoy :)

I wasn't playing when Natlan came out, can I get a TLDR?

Personally I haven't gotten there yet (just finished fontaine, so very soon!) story-wise but I do know some stuff & have been in the area and I really love how it looks, probably one of my favorites. As for characters, I don't know them a lot, but I really like Mavuika and I plan on summoning for Citlali soon!

No, it's not the arm I typically wear a bag on. It does rub against my body just bcs it's the inside of my forearm, but I only have it on one arm
