We're building Skills for agents that need public data
UnifAPI is a Skills-first public-data layer for general agents, research agents, coding agents, and other MCP-capable clients. We started it because agent workflows need evidence, follow-up searches, and repeatable public data more than they need another fixed GUI.
The opinions that shape what we build
These show up in product decisions — pricing, DX, scope, the kind of data we'll serve and the kind we won't.
Public data is infrastructure
Public social data is one of the clearest places agents can create leverage: creators, posts, comments, profiles, channels, and communities. Making that capability uniform, cheap, and safe to call is worth years of work.
Skills are the product surface
The API catalog matters, but most users start with a task: price a KOL campaign, build a creator shortlist, monitor a market, explain a competitor. Skills make that task shape explicit for general agents, research agents, coding agents, and other MCP clients.
Pricing should match usage
Subscriptions with hard caps belong to the previous era. If you call us once a month, the bill matches. If you call us a million times, the bill matches. We don't punish growth.
Trust ships with the data
Public data has nuance — what's allowed, what's archived, what's stale. We document it clearly, set an acceptable use policy, and refuse work that wouldn't survive sunlight.
We're a small team — and growing
We hire engineers who care about ergonomics, infrastructure, and shipping things that other engineers want to use. If that sounds like you, drop us a line.
Give your assistant live public data
Add one MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, or Codex and run ready-made marketing agents — $0.001 per record, no separate LLM key.
