Support
Our work: MusiCares is the leading nonprofit organization supporting all music professionals. Founded by the Recording Academy in 1989 as a U.S. based, independent 501(c)(3) charity, MusiCares provides vital health, financial, recovery and human services to the music community in times of need. MusiCares is here for everyone working in the music industry, including musicians, songwriters, engineers, producers, live crew, managers, agents, and more, across all genres and all music professions.
Our impact: Over the past three decades, MusiCares has distributed more than $135 million in critical aid to music people. After the devastating Los Angeles wildfires in 2025, MusiCares directed more than $15 million toward fire relief efforts and reached more than 3,200 music professionals through ongoing relief, recovery and sustained support.
