Do you use a flash when doing paid family photo shoot?
Discussion/General

We've had 4 family photoshoots done. 2 indoors (newborn shoots) and 2 outdoor shoots. I don't remember the photographers using flash at all. The pictures were still great and we liked them.

If I were to try to get into paid family shoots, I wasn't sure if it would be "too extra" to also use a speedlight or off-camera flash. I know little kids can be quick so maybe that is why they did not use flash.
