Link only shares are not allowed

Please don’t share links of your games or achievements without any context or text added. Sharing only a link without any context will result in your post getting removed so as to avoid spam.

Don’t post inappropriate content

No text, images or links featuring NSFW, or disturbing content is allowed. This includes nudity, violence, gore, sexual content, use of drugs as well as malicious content (videos with loud audio damaging to ears, or epileptic content). Try to keep vulgar language to a minimum and just use common sense.

Cheating accusations are not allowed

Accusations of cheating are not allowed, as they might be unfounded and tend to result in witch-hunts. Any such posts will be deleted. Please report the user to Fair Play on the website if you’re suspicious.

This includes content such as “is this user cheating?” and indirect accusations. Any further cheating discussions that are not newsworthy or notorious should be taken to our Cheating Forum. Our mods will evaluate posts about cheating accordingly.

Don’t encourage, promote or facilitate fair play violations

Encouraging, promoting or facilitating other users to cheat, sandbag, stall games or to violate any other violations of Chess.com's Terms of Service will result in a ban! Please read our TOS, Community Guidelines and Fair Play policy here.

No off-topic discussions. Flair your posts appropriately

Keep it about chess! Non-chess related content will be removed. Please refrain from discussing politics, religion, gender/sexuality or any related topics. Please use our flairs to showcase what your post is about. If you don’t find any fitting flairs, feel free to choose “Miscellaneous”. This keeps all content here organized and easier to find!

Keep advertisements and self-promotion to a minimum

Please don’t use this platform for self promotion or advertisements of any other platforms, YouTube channels, streams, chess lessons or events. If you have a Chess.com club, wrote a Chess.com blog or article and want to share, please do! Those are fine to post here and there, but please don’t spam.

We welcome discussion, feedback, and vent posts about your experiences on Chess.com.
