high temp or outdoor replacement for AC1200 mesh nodes?
high temp or outdoor replacement for AC1200 mesh nodes?

I planned to put a couple of AC1200 nodes in weatherproof enclosures and put them in outbuildings. Problem is these buildings are not air conditioned and exceed 100F (could be as high as 120-130 potentially). Looks like the mesh notes are rated for up to 95f.

Is there any outdoor rated node or antenna that will work with the google mesh stuff, and potentially give a usable wifi signal over a mostly open 5 acres? I could put a couple of powered repeaters if necessary.

Thank you

Multiple routers on the same mesh?
Multiple routers on the same mesh?

Hello!

Bought a wifi router 5-6 years ago and thinking about buying a new one (for new features developped since, there must be some)

The thing I'm wondering tho is is this router now useless if i buy a new one or it can be a new point in the mesh (if i wire it in like a router)

My internet entry point is on one side of the house and so i'm thinking of pulling an ethernet cable all the way to the other side and plugging the old router there, strenghtening my mesh.
