Be Respectful

At Manchester United we pride ourselves on being a respectful and united fanbase. Treat fellow Reds with dignity. Personal attacks, hate speech, discrimination or trolling have no place here. Passionate discussion is welcome but keep it civil and constructive.

Low Effort Content

In an effort to raise submission quality, Boring, repetitive memes, posts or off-topic posts will be removed at moderators discretion.

AI generated content will be removed at the moderators discretion.

Posts titled "Thoughts" or similar will either need the image provided to give enough context to start a discussion or body text to provide context worth discussing. Posts that don't meet these criteria will be removed at the moderators discretion.

News Should Be Reliably Sourced, and Titled Accurately

All news articles/content should be submitted as direct links; not contained within any self-text body, tweets, screenshots, archive websites etc.]

News should be submitted without any editorialisation of the title, except for unbiased clarifications within [square brackets].

Copy/pasting of article text, or posting of links to websites designed to bypass paywalls is not allowed.

Third Party Content

Images, Video Links and social media posts must contain the link to the original source and much be free from opinions. If you want to give an opinion along with the content. Please use the comments section.

No Buying / Selling is Allowed

Any ticket vending or any other forms of buying/selling/soliciting content of any kind will be removed, and you may be banned if that is your only activity on the sub. Please be wary of scammers who may use direct messages to contact you.

No Gambling/ Links to gambling sites

Although we do run some competitions for a bit of fun, we can't and won't encourage any posts or comments related to gambling or linking to gambling websites.

Illegal Services

Reddit has cracked down on subs which share or request links to copyrighted content. While moderators will exercise discretion around this, please be advised we may have to remove posts/comments. For IPTV service providers, please check out the dedicated subs on these issues.

Hate Speech

Hate Speech will not be tolerated against any user, player, manager or set of fans from any club. This includes slurs.

Search For It First

Breaking News, big story is breaking. Please use the search function first. Duplicate posts will be removed in order to maintain subreddit quality.

Memes

Memes are welcome here but they are the most likely post to be removed. If you post a meme and want it to stay on the feed you must meet certain criteria.

You must have positive community karma
You must tag it as a "shit post"
The meme must make sense.

Other factors may result in memes being taken down such as frequency and timing. Poking fun at a player or rival is not the same as bullying. Moderators will use their discretion to decide if your meme "crossed the line"

Ban Evasion

You have been banned for ban evasion. Circumventing a prior ban by creating or using alternate accounts is strictly prohibited under Reddit’s sitewide rules and this subreddit’s policies. Please respect the original ban and refrain from further attempts to evade it.

Repeat offences

Users who haven't necessarily done any individual thing that's ban worthy but have multiple actions taken against them by the moderator team will be banned from contributing here.

The mod team doesn't believe in silencing people for having negative opinions, but if you're constantly just triggering the community, we will take action
