We are thrilled to announce the official relaunch of the program!
For those unfamiliar with the program, Mod Reserves is a dedicated group of experienced volunteer moderators who step in to support existing mod teams during temporary, unexpected surges in traffic, crises, or temporary understaffing. Founded by , the program has existed since 2019 and has been a vital resource to help communities stay resilient when they need more hands on deck.
As we roll into this exciting new chapter, we’ve updated the experience to make it faster, more accessible, and significantly easier to use. Here is everything you need to know about what’s new and how to get involved:

Brand-new Devvit app: We’re excited to introduce a mobile-friendly that makes requesting backup intuitive and simple. So intuitive, in fact, that it does not require extensive documentation to use. If you need to request the reserves, go to the app, click on Request Mod reserves assistance and let the app guide you through the process (see gif below).

A revamped : We’ve given a fresh look to serve as your ultimate hub for program updates, information, and knowledge sharing.

Updated trophies: We overhauled the reward system with new levels of trophies based on your participation in the program. Trophies will be awarded based on the number of Mod Reserve Deployments a reservist actively participates in.
