Always discuss the comment or the post, not the redditor who posted it.

Stay on-topic
Post topics must be related to Ohio State football, Ohio State's schedule, people associated with the team, the team's upcoming opponents, and opinions around those things. Remember that this is a football sub. If you want to discuss other things, this is probably the wrong subreddit to use.

No trolling other subs
The mods of this sub have mutual respect for the mods of Ohio State's opponents.
We will take action here when mods of rival subs tell us you've been trolling their subreddits to provoke a response. Just don't.
Reddit also has a sitewide rule against "Mentioning other communities, and/or content or users in those communities, with the effect of inciting targeted harassment or abuse." Don't do that, either.

No showboating
Reddit's Moderator Code of Conduct prohibits the mod team from allowing posts with "showboating," which is talking about being banned or actioned in other communities, with the intent to incite a negative reaction. Regardless of your intent, don't brag or talk about being banned elsewhere, because it violates Reddit's sitewide rule.

During the game, discuss in-game events in the game thread. This makes the subreddit easier to follow chronologically and it easier for everyone following the game thread to see your comments.

Like the rest of Reddit, this is no place for jokes about rape, assault, abuse, or any such topic related. The sub is a place for friendly interactions, any violations will result in permanent bans and report to reddit admins.

Reddit is a place for creating community and belonging, not for attacking marginalized or vulnerable groups of people. Everyone has a right to use Reddit free of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence.

No personal information
No sharing or leaking of private information belonging to other users or individuals associated with the team. This includes links to social media pages, information about where you work and/or live, and first/last name sharing in a public forum. Maintain privacy, and assume others would do harm if they know anyone's personal information.
