Unwelcome content

Some examples of content that is not welcome:

Graphic injuries/death and/or nudity/sexual content. Posting this content will get you banned.
Violence, harassment & the encouragement of endangerment of others (animals included). No street fight videos at all.
Personal attacks in posts or comments
illegal or unregulated dangerous behavior that potentially puts others at risk
Possibly unwanted personal exposure
Memes, job postings & politics
Advertising

Hate speech & racism are unwelcome and will result in an immediate permaban.

Post titles MUST give reason(s) to praise the camera operator in posted video.

This sub is dedicated for camera operators who are to be praised, not for entertaining content. Posts neglecting to give reasons to praise the camera operator will be removed. Posts also need to contain the video OP is referencing. Just saying "Praise the camera operator for this cool video" doesn't count. Reasons for praising include things like framing, tracking, etc.

Also try your best to credit the original creator of videos posted.

No forced sexualization

The forced sexualization of individuals will not hold place in our SubReddit.

Intentionally captured footage

Incidentally captured content doesn't qualify; it's about the operation, not the content.

Security/dash cam footage does not count as it is not placed with intent to capture a specific event.

The means of photography

No 360 cameras.
Just strapping an action camera to you while you do an activity won't necessarily count as PTC.
Just showing a camera operator working doesn't count. We need to see the end result of the footage.

No still photos or video stills

It's nothing against still photos. There's already r/photography, we are going to stick to videography.

No drones

It's nothing against drone operators as it does take a good amount of skill. We don't allow them because they already have their own subreddit at r/drones.

No digital effects/CGI (pans, zooms, etc.). All video must be live-action (no video game footage)

This sub is about camerawork done with the camera at the time of the recording, not done in post-production.

No reposts of videos posted within the last 6 months.

Also videos that have been posted ad nauseam

Posting these videos will get you banned.

The video of the guy “catching” the guy cheating on his wife/gf and the “cheater” hops the railing. It’s staged and stupid.
The woman in the fashion show whose skirt gets pulled off and the cameraman zooms in.
The female reporter in front of a gas station and a woman in a sheer bodysuit walks by and the camera op pans to her.
The people in sandals speeding down a steep hill on a bike on an active street.
