I (19F) haven't seen the new ATLA movie yet. But, I have seen clips and pictures from the movie, as well as other people's "reviews" (if you can call it that) regarding it. And from everything I have seen, I feel that the movie did Adult Sokka dirty.
Like, not only does it seem that they relegated my boy to underappreciated comic relief (from what I've seen anyway), his design in the movie, while not all bad, looks like he's still a lanky teenager when he's supposed to be in his mid-to-late twenties.
I guess I just imagined him differently. More mature looking. Kinda like Zuko and Aang's design in the movie. Maybe they didn't want all three of them to have the same build or something. I don't know. What do you guys think? 🤔
