Does anyone think it would have helped with the story, either with Rayllum or just general pacing of things had Rayla been sending letters back to Callum when she was gone. It's not like he could have found her that way, (either because with no return address or the fact that she was on the move.)
Like it could have been revealed in ep 1 of season 4 by showing a stack of letters on Callum's desk, or that talk with Ez on the balcony. Where he could have mentioned them, but say it's not the same.
I for one think it would have still given them a rocky start, or rather re-start, but not as drastic and stiff. Like if that was the case he could have pulled her into a hug, but still say he was mad, stuff like that.
Also who else thinks it's an absolute travesty that Rayla and Callum weren't named the queen and king of Everkind or at least the head leaders. Just felt like it was a ripoff of atla/alok republic city.
Like we get it monarchy bad republic good. THINGS ARN"T THAT BLACK AND WHITE PEOPLE!
