Unrelated

All posts should relate to either Hearthstone card design or be of other similar creative works relating to Hearthstone.

Allowed are custom Hearthstone cards that you have created. Also allowed are discussions and questions regarding card design as well as fan art of Hearthstone. Content that is not allowed include, but is not limited to, screenshots, video clips, and questions about Hearthstone gameplay.

Low Effort

Posts and comments should be of reasonable quality and effort.

Not allowed are content that depict or reference memes. Posts that aren’t deemed to be of reasonable effort are also not allowed and will be judged by a case by case basis considering the following:

Would this card be released by Blizzard?
Is it possible in game?
Will this incite constructive discussion?
Does it have blatant balance or design issues?
Is it an unimaginative twist on an existing card?

Constructive

Comments made on posts marked “Serious” should be constructive, being both helpful and detailed.

By using the flair, the poster has indicated that they want serious and constructive feedback. Comments that are not allowed on such posts include:

Jokes.
Comments not relating to the posted card or its design.
Comments that lack details or are unhelpful.

Civil

Posts and comments should be civil; contributing to a friendly and welcoming community.

Refrain from harassing other users and from using inflammatory or derogatory words. Also be mindful and follow the guidelines set out by the Reddiquette.

Political

Posts and comments of political nature are not allowed.

This includes depictions of political figures as well as of political and controversial events and topics. Posts regarding these subjects often resulted in undesirable discussion with little constructive or creative value.

Well Made Weekends

Humorous and lower quality posts are not allowed on the weekends.

Well Made Weekends lasts for 48 hours beginning on Saturday (GMT) and posts will be judged on a case by case basis. Posts that do not follow the following guidelines will be removed:

Cards must be 100% functional in game.
Posts must be made with appropriate titles and art.
Should aim to incite constructive discussion.
No twists on existing cards. (Includes balance changes, parodies, and Battleground variants)

Appropriate Art and Title

Posts must be made with appropriate art and post titles. This includes having a title that is at least 4 words long.

Prohibited are card art and post titles including:

Unrelated art
Intentionally bad photoshops & MS paint, including simple filters
Images of real life subjects
Art not “Hearthstone-appropriate”, including mature subject matter
Undescriptive post titles
Profanity
Unimaginative jokes and phrases such as “Make X great again” & "Is this OP?"
Feedback requests
