I've been a long time fan of the game since strikers release, I sunk about 150 into the game pre awakening and it pains me more that I'll never be able to fight using the strikers I've come to adore in both use and design. I can only hope that someone reputable buys dauntless, or it even gets bought at all unless the current owners decide to pull a smiling friends and go "it's MY ip to sit on and do nothing with"

So I'd like to ask for the effort of the probably very few people left on this sub reddit now that the game is closing, to just say their favorite aspects of the game, not just in gameplay, but the world and lore, the landscapes and concepts, the core mechanics that all drew you to the game. What possible things you'd hate to see if this game somehow got revived and put back online, what to remove and strip that taints the core aspect of the game (mainly the whole "weapon tokens" in place of "crafting weapons" we all agree was the stupidest and greediest decision made).

I have 4 posters for the game, a family gift in the shape of the letter D with pictures of the game, a glass light up frame of the logo, a painted picture of the logo, several 3d printed trinkets of the logo a 3d printed malkarion, a dnd conversion of the game, and 1300 hours in the game. so I'll be DAMNED if I don't at least try to help and remake what is my favorite game, I'm a learning game dev so I kinda hope to sprinkle in some of dauntless into my games, at least as a reminder of what my favorite game used to be...
