Is the colour or colour code printed anywhere on a Uniqlo t-shirt (not on the price tag, but on the actual t-shirt or t-shirt labels)?
I have an "09 Black" Supima t-shirt, but I cannot see that listed anywhere on the t-shirt. It is the same for the other colours and also the Airism t-shirts I have.
Comically the first Uniqlo t-shirt I got was an "07 Grey" so when I saw "07-34-6N062A" on the care label I assumed the 07 was the colour code, although I now realise it is not, and they all start 07-34 regardless of colour.
I assumed this would be a simple google but the product tag seems to confuse Google and I can't find a definitive "yes/no" anywhere. I just go round in circles and end up back on "it's on the price tag", e..g., when I google "is the colour code printed on a uniqlo t shirt" it says
Yes, the colour code is printed on your Uniqlo t-shirt's product tags.
Here is where to find and read the colour information:
* On the cardboard price tag: It will be printed as a two-digit number followed by the colour name (e.g., 09 - BLACK or 69 - NAVY).
* On the inner care label: Look for the 6-digit product code, which is usually followed by a dash and the 2-digit colour code. For example, XXXXXX - 09 would indicate the colour black.
The second method (the colour code is usually included after the product code) is not true for my t-shirts, and I can't find the source google is using for that either. But I was expecting something like that, as all my other non Uniqlo t-shirts just list the colour on the label.
I'm in the UK if that matters.
Edit: formatting.
