In my opinion data mining has long since crippled the story (questionable writing aside), it's intensely difficult to tell a story when every beat is seen out of context in a batch of files.

I feel like even if they were telling a really compelling story we wouldn't ever see it because the reaction to individual parts would cause a backlash, and then adjustment.

I think we are in a bit of a vicious cycle that's difficult to break.

Everything under "season 1" is PvE content. So if you wanna do progression PvE that's the section. The top section is all the activities available. Each currency is linked to one set of activities and are a bit easier to follow than previous expansions.

It doesn't really need to be managed per se. Most activities have limited rewards, so you won't be gathering all of them at all times. Just try a bit of everything, see what you enjoy/what rewards you've seen you like and go with that.
