jumping into a dev career of another tech stack

Hi guys, I’m an iOS dev with 7 yoe. Previously did some react (early on in career) and react native now (due to company moving from native to RN but insufficient skills to write code without AI).

Currently on the hunt for another job. Am kinda veering away from native stack as all too often I’ve seen companies pivoting from native to hybrid or some sort all in the name of cost saving which I get.

Realistically if I were to find a job as a backend dev or sth, how hard is it to make the switch? A lot of JD mentions python. Do I have to learn the syntax myself first before applying or am I able to interview without these skills?

Feel free to be brutally honest. Thx.

Oh wow, your experience sounds like it was a lot - which is a good thing!! I’m glad you had fun and thank you so much for sharing specific details like how long it takes to get there and the crowd situation. This year I attended suzuka for the first time and didn’t anticipate how long and early it requires one to travel since the track is not in the city. We live in Singapore so having attended the night race here we’re used to just showing up and entering the gates straightaway 😅 anyway! Much appreciated once again

I used sims 4 to try and illustrate to my ID what I wanted during the Reno phase. Tho my sims could walk through the space just fine he had to keep telling me it wasn’t practical 🤣

Hey! If you don’t mind could you share a TLDR for a Silverstone first timer? Considering catching the race there next year! But probably just one of the days. Which day did you have the best experience?

Anyone with Hamilton onboards, what’s going on?

Steam is having a sale now

I just dreamt about it last night after playing for an hour just before bed🤣

Off topic but Kimi looks like Ollie here 👀
