Threatening to murder patients is objectively wrong and is a violation of the foundational oath of a physician.

Based on the fact that he divorced her over it, I’m going to assume they were not in a mutually agreed-upon polyamorous relationship, but rather sworn to monogamy by marriage, which she violated. Responsible poly people don’t go around endorsing boundary violations.

What are you talking about?

If reality and perception are different, the best way to close that gap is to address people’s perceptions.

Except this is exactly what the OP is talking about. The misandrist bias among court workers is just that, bias. Men aren’t actually “bad,” especially when we are talking about the larger category of “men” and not just “the incredibly small minority of men who actually commit violent crimes.” The people society most desperately needs to actually uphold impartiality, the literal arbiters of law, are allowing the availability heuristic to cripple their impartiality in ways that fundamentally undermine the legal system and society more broadly. We should be making aggressive efforts to curb such bias in the courts, just like we do for race-based discrimination. Your entire comment is victim-blaming men for being victimized by biased courts.

He is basically borrowing from the NYC city worker pension fund instead of from a bank.

The state of New York has multiple impoverished rural areas desperately in need of government services. My guess is Hochul wanted to send money there, since there are multiple competitive house districts there that need to be shored up.

He threatened to tax them, which scared them away. Now they are leaving before he can even levy any taxes on them, simultaneously driving out the rich and closing the budget gap by pilfering city pensions.
