Yes I’ve always been emotionally distant with my family and I felt bad for a while because I didn’t want them to think I don’t love them. But I don’t see it as a bad thing anymore because my love shows through my actions for them. We’re not obligated to absorb other peoples feelings, like you said simply being there or a good listener is enough.

That makes sense, In my mind I was taking into consideration how in a lot of cultures those parts aren’t as sexualized as they are in the “west”. But even then in some places women have to be completely covered for the same reasons that women are encouraged to be uncovered.

I did my own research and have my own opinion, I was just curious about other peoples thoughts and opinions🤷🏽‍♀️
