No appointment needed just walk in, but there might be a line so be prepared to wait up to an hour to see someone.

They never emailed me back, I eventually just went to the passport office in the city and paid the priority processing fee $225. Just picked it up today, if you’re travelling soon I reckon just cop the fee. I estimate it’d take like 12weeks or more. My application was at 8wks and the lady at the office said they hadn’t even looked at my application.
