10 definitely feels young, even at 19 I got a pair of earrings with real emeralds, lost one, and still feel terrible about it over 10 years later.

NOR the emoji spamming pissed me off.

Related note: my boyfriend is an introverted home body who will always default to comfortable clothes, and yet he is excited to attend a gala for a group I am a member of where he will have to dress up and talk to many very extroverted people. Your boyfriend just sounds selfish.

The thing I'm hung up on is: if his Mom is banging his peers, who's to say the Dad isn't as well? At a time he's supposed to be exploring himself, all potential partners come with an air of suspicion that one of his parents might have had sex with them first.

It's easy to become complacent in a relationship and let the little things slip, which will diminish those warm/fun/loving/sexy feelings. Just try to not stop dating her - it'll never be the same crazy infatuation as the beginning, but effort is appreciated.

This, and also don't be mad if she doesn't end up having sex with you. Knowing your partner is only going to be sweet & romantic when they wanna bone is a total mood ruiner and puts so much pressure on her. She said she wants romance, so plan some romance! You've got this

If you loved them you wouldn't be cheating on all of them.

Yeah no this screams "alpine divorce" to me. I wouldn't see this man again, but if you have to make sure it's in a public place, preferably with a friend accompanying you.

I'm sorry about your house and having to find out that your friends aren't as outwardly supportive as you'd hoped. Is it possible they just don't know what to say? I've got a friend whose Dad passed recently and I've been there for her, but tbh sometimes it feels odd reaching out to someone to be like "hey just a reminder that your Dad is dead, you still sad about that?" (obviously that is not what I say, just what it feels like).

When the dust settles and you have more time/energy for socializing, this might actually work out to be a mini-blessing. I love my fair weather friends: they're generally entertaining, I'm never disappointed about them letting me down because I expect nothing, and I know I won't feel morally obligated into reciprocating anything for them. I just spent the whole day with a friend who genuinely has no idea what's going on with my life because she can't be bothered to remember, and I still had a great time.
