There has been fluctuations in the number of registered vehicles from the year 2000. Number of passenger vehicles has increased steadily, but decreased by 6% after the financial crisis in 2008 and dipped also a bit in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. statice.is/publications/n…

A total of 9,200 individuals were unemployed in December 2024 according to seasonally adjusted results from the Icelandic Labour force survey. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 3.9%, the employment rate was 78.2%, and the activity rate 81.4%. statice.is/publications/n…
