An L6 ordinary chondrite that fell over the town of Katol, India, the afternoon of 22 May 2012. At least 30 stones totaling over 13 kg were collected. Most of the material is housed at the Geological Survey of India. The type specimen is held in the Arizona State University Center for Meteorite Studies.

Petrologic and compositional details are more consistent with classification as troilite-metal nodule (TMN) bearing L6-7 chondrite.
