1. That’s a lot all at once. Keep an eye on him though. Cats can stress easily. I also learned my cat had acid reflux and raising her bowl about 2 inches solved much of her vomiting after eating problem

2. He’s 8 so will be sleeping more than a younger cat. Give him some time maybe he’ll perk up a bit once he’s more comfortable with his new living situation

At night, get a few plug in night lights. My girl would cry at night and those solved that problem for us

3. Make sure you have floor scratchers and we have a large (about 3 foot/1m tall) beefy vertical scratcher she loves. Toys are favorites one minute and boring the next. Mine loves a good string to chase and a red dot laser to chase the most YMMV

4. My cat is a frequent flyer! She travels both by plane and car with me when I travel for work. We have a Rabbitgoo harness from Amazon. She took right to it. We admittedly got lucky.
