- 2026-10-21: Wikimedia Foundation is undertaking critical maintenance work due to a PHP security release. Certain services, including tools hosted on Toolforge and Cloud VPS, are offline as a precautionary measure. For updates, see this page.
- The Wikidata Query Service Days 2026 took place between October 17 to 23.
- This online event will focus on the migration of the Wikidata Query Service from Blazegraph to QLever, and supporting the Wikidata community, tool maintainers and data reusers with adapting their queries and tools to the new endpoint.
